At Alaska Ash, we offer a peaceful way to honor your loved one — through ash scattering ceremonies performed with care in Alaska’s most breathtaking natural settings. The process is intentionally simple for you, and deeply meaningful for them.
📦 1.You Prepare and Ship the Ashes
You are responsible for securely mailing your loved one’s cremated remains to us. We’ll provide clear instructions, a checklist, and a direct link to official USPS guidelines for shipping cremated remains. Once received, we’ll confirm their arrival and keep you informed every step of the way.
🏔️ 2. You Select the Ceremony, We Handle the Rest
Choose from Glacier Ash, Mountain Ash, or Waterfall Ash — each offering a unique connection to Alaska’s wild beauty. Based on location conditions, weather, and accessibility, we schedule and perform the ceremony at a safe and private time.
For safety, environmental protection, and the integrity of the experience, all ceremonies are conducted solely by Alaska Ash. Out of respect for the process, we do not allow anyone — including family or guests — to be present during the scattering.
💌 3. You Receive a Lasting Tribute
Following the ceremony, we send you a digital keepsake package that includes a high-quality photo of the scattering location, GPS coordinates of the exact spot, and a digital certificate of ceremony. It’s a gentle way to remember where peace was found.
